Marcus Rashford has essentially called an end to his time at Manchester United with his recent comments.
In a bombshell interview with Henry Winter on Tuesday, it was revealed that Marcus Rashford is ready to leave Manchester United.
The 27-year-old, who was dropped by Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby, insisted he is “ready for a new challenge” after spending the past 20 years of his life with the Red Devils.
Amorim wants Rashford to stay and believes he can be presented with a new challenge within the club, but a move away in 2025 seems almost inevitable now.
Reports last week suggested United would accept £40m for Rashford with figures inside the club hoping his sale can kickstart a culture reset.

Where could Marcus Rashford go after Man United?
If Marcus Rashford has his heart set on leaving United – and that certainly seems to be the case – there are several options on the table.
One of the more realistic options is a move to France with Paris Saint-Germain interested in Rashford after monitoring him for several years.
However, there are also options outside of Europe. The MLS appeals to Rashford and one extreme option would be to join the Saudi Pro League with clubs in the Middle East showing an interest.
United are open to loan offers for Rashford in what would be a stepping stone towards a permanent move.
Finance expert Adam Williams explained earlier this month that selling Rashford would fix United’s PSR problems.
Marcus Rashford would prefer to move to Spain
According to The Telegraph, Rashford’s “preference” would be to move to Spain if he does choose to leave United.
One stumbling block is Rashford’s astronomical wages at United – many interested teams would be unable to match the £300,000 per week he is currently earning.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are cited as teams that could make a move for Rashford – but neither club appears to be in a good position for that deal.

Madrid recently splashed out to bring Kylian Mbappe to the Bernabeu, and with Vinicius Junior also on the books they have plenty of depth up front.
As for Barcelona, the Catalan giants are still restricted financially and are struggling to register signings made in 2024. Matching Rashford’s wages seems a big ask.
