Manchester United have run out of patience with Manuel Ugarte and the Uruguayan midfielder has now commented on his future plans.
In Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Brighton, Manuel Ugarte was denied any minutes with Michael Carrick leaving him on the bench.
Ugarte has been linked with an exit after another underwhelming season with the Red Devils. There is no denying he has been disappointing since his £42m move from PSG.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ugarte has been told to leave United this summer by Carrick.

As quoted by ESPN Uruguay, Ugarte was asked about his United future and the upcoming World Cup.
“Manchester United is one of the best clubs in the world,” Ugarte said.
“The World Cup is going to be crucial in determining everything. I’m open to whatever comes. This year wasn’t great in every sense, but I learned a lot mentally, I was surrounded by good people, and I’m trying to take the positives from it.
“We’ll see what happens at the World Cup. Whatever happens, I think it will be good,” he said.
“In recent months, my focus has been 100% on the World Cup. Now it’s time to get down to business and start training to face Saudi Arabia.
“This year wasn’t my best at Manchester United, but at one point I had a realization and said: my focus is on the World Cup. I did everything for the World Cup.”

United are planning to overhaul their midfield this summer, and selling Ugarte is a key part of that plan.
Ugarte is valued at £25m this summer by United, and clearly he has been told to explore his options and leave.
Ineos are already exploring options to replace Ugarte, with Mateus Fernandes and Ederson two targets on their radar.
Ederson is an upgrade on Ugarte as a defensive midfielder, and his £45m asking price can be largely funded by an Ugarte sale this summer.
Regardless of how he performs at the World Cup this summer, United fans can expect to see Ugarte headed for the exit.
