One Manchester United star has emerged as a doubt ahead of the Europa League clash against Fenerbahce.
The Red Devils will hope to get their Europa League campaign back on track on Thursday night but have been warned that former manager Jose Mourinho will want “revenge”.
Manchester United have been disappointing in Europe so far and currently sit 21st in the Europa League table after back-to-back draws against FC Twente and Porto.
The Europa League could be United’s golden ticket back to the Champions League given that Erik ten Hag’s side have made their worst-ever start to a Premier League season and face an uphill battle to finish in the top four.
Ten Hag will have a weakened squad for Thursday’s trip with Kobbie Mainoo out injured for seven games and centre-back duo Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro also out.
Fresh reports from training on Wednesday morning suggest Ten Hag may now be without another key defender for the trip.

Jonny Evans missing from Man United training
Jonny Evans has been a surprise package for United this season with the 36-year-old reclaiming a starting spot after impressing at the back.
Ten Hag raised eyebrows when he turned to Evans and Maguire in his moment of need against Porto, but the defensive duo delivered for the Dutchman.
Evans kept his spot in the side for the Premier League visit to Aston Villa, where Graham Potter hailed his “masterclass” performance.
However, according to Manchester Evening News reporter Tyrone Marshall, Evans was missing from training on Wednesday morning and is now a “doubt to travel”.
He added that United captain Bruno Fernandes was also missing as he has been given a few days off as he is suspended in the Europa League following his red card against Porto.
Jonny Evans will be a big miss for Man United
United invested heavily in their defence this summer with Matthijs de Ligt arriving from Bayern Munich and Leny Yoro arriving from Lille.
However, with Yoro injured and other defenders struggling to perform, Evans has climbed his way back up Ten Hag’s pecking order and has featured in seven matches this season.
Thankfully, Yoro has been spotted back in training and is inching closer to making his return after suffering an injury in pre-season.

De Ligt and Lisandro Martinez also impressed against Brentford and earned their shot at Europa League redemption after a hugely disappointing performance from the duo against Porto last time out.
Hopefully the reason behind Evans missing training is nothing serious and the veteran defender is fit to return after the Fenerbahce clash.
