Manchester United are yet to communicate a final decision on Marcus Rashford’s club future as he prepares to return.
At the end of last season, Marcus Rashford made it clear he wanted to join Barcelona after spending a season on loan in Spain.
But Barcelona rejected the chance to sign Rashford, and the 28-year-old’s future was left hanging in the balance heading into the World Cup.
Reports since have claimed that Rashford is open to staying at United and repairing his relationship with the club, but at the same time, United are still open to selling him.

Man United could miss out on Crysencio Summerville
There was a £40m release clause in Rashford’s contract valid until July 15. Now that it has expired, it seems even more likely that he will stay put at Old Trafford.
If a bid comes in, United will still consider selling Rashford, but Ineos identified Crysencio Summerville as his replacement at left wing.
United have been heavily linked with Summerville all summer, but it seems Roma could beat the Red Devils to his signature.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Roma are set to send a new bid to West Ham for Summerville.
Roma have already had a €40m plus €5m bid rejected by the Championship club. Personal terms are not said to be an issue for the Netherlands international.

With Summerville slipping out of reach for Ineos, there is growing pressure for United to resolve the Rashford situation.
