Mason Mount exit reaction

Mason Mount’s goodbye message caused a bit of a stir with Chelsea fans due to his haircut – which suggested it was recorded weeks earlier.

There was no bitterness from his Chelsea colleagues past and present, plus club legend John Terry, who responded to his Instagram message.

Terry left him a message with three blue hearts, which Tammy Abraham wished him the best. Callum Hudson-Odoi expressed his sadness at his departure.

Last week defender Trevor Chalobah had shown his sadness when the news broke of Manchester United agreeing a fee with Chelsea for Mount.

United will pay £55 million for Mount, plus a further £5 million in add-ons.
