Jadon Sancho is expected at Carrington today for his Manchester United medical, report The Mail.

The report says Sancho is expected for his medical on Tuesday (13/7) to complete his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho will then go on a three week holiday before returning for the latter stages of pre-season in early August.

The late start means Sancho will likely be eased in at United and is no guarantee to be selected as a starter for the first game of the season. United kick off against Leeds on August 14.

United’s final pre-season game is on August 7 at Old Trafford against Everton. It is very possible this date could end up being Sancho’s debut, if not the Leeds game itself.

Ours at last

But having waited this long, we can hold off just a little bit longer to see Sancho play in red.

Thankfully the endless back and forth with Dortmund is done, with United announcing an agreement for Sancho at the start of July.

Now the move can become official once the medical is completed, photos and press interviews are undertaken, and an agreement on his squad numbers is finalised.

Right after and in the lead up to the final United fans were focused on Sancho finally getting his medical done. It’s nearly here.

While his European Championships ended on a sour note with his penalty miss, Sancho can have a fresh start at United. He is one of the world’s best young talents and he is finally ours.
