Marcus Rashford has failed to make an appearance in seven consecutive games for Manchester United.
An exit for the 27-year-old now appears inevitable after dropping out of Ruben Amorim’s plans at Manchester United.
Amorim dropped Rashford for the Manchester derby in December, suggesting that he dropped below standards in training.
Since then, he has not made a single appearance for the club. Rashford was in the matchday squad against Newcastle but stayed on the bench for the 2-0 defeat.
United face Southampton on Thursday evening and Amorim will once again have to make a decision whether to include Marcus Rashford.

However, he has been in Europe sounding out potential suitors this month. It seems as though Rashford may have played his final game for United.

How Man United players reacted to Marcus Rashford decision
Dropping Rashford was a bold decision, but Ineos are fully behind Amorim and will allow the head coach to decide the player’s future.
Rashford has held talks with AC Milan over a move, while several other clubs have made approaches over a January deal.
Despite Rashford previously being viewed as a key player at Old Trafford, reports suggest United’s dressing room is in full agreement with Amorim.
According to The Athletic, United’s players are fully on board with Amorim’s decision to set standards, even if it comes at the cost of losing Rashford.
Amorim has challenged United’s mentality since arriving at Carrington, and he has made sure that no player gets any special treatment. He has left the door open for Rashford to stay, but he will continue to demand more from him – just as he does with every other player.
The report adds that United players viewed Rashford being dropped as “highly significant”.
Man United players in ‘love’ with Ruben Amorim
After the remarkable shootout victory over Arsenal, Altay Bayindir said United players “love” Amorim after his bright start in England.
“Everyday he’s [Amorim] talking with us and he wants to help us. We love him and he’s always trying to do his best,” Bayindir said. He is certainly not the only United player who seems to have built a strong relationship with the Portuguese.

Harry Maguire said Amorim is “really demanding” but has given him the confidence to return to his best form.
Amorim’s former players praised his communication skills and that is something that has also been picked up on in Manchester. Bruno Fernandes praised Amorim’s communication, explaining that he “really believes” in his methods.
