A rundown of every deal Manchester United ended up completing on transfer deadline day.

Manchester United did not manage to complete any incoming deals on deadline day, to the huge disappointment of fans.

Even a move for teenage forward Mathys Tel did not come to fruition, he signed with Tottenham instead. United backed off amid concerns over the loan fee

Where there was a little action, was in the outgoings. United sanctioned a small number of exits to trim the squad and academy.

Tyrell Malacia to PSV (loan)

Tyrell Malacia’s move to Benfica broke down ahead of deadline day. With a few hours to spare, a loan exit path to PSV Eindhoven emerged.

It is a return to the Netherlands for Erik ten Hag’s first Manchester United signing, recruited from Feyenoord in 2022.

Malacia has recently overcome a nightmare knee injury, and with Patrick Dorgu joining United, an exit is necessary to play regular football.

This deal is pending confirmation.

Sam Mather and Louis Jackson to Tranmere Rovers (loan)

Manchester United confirmed the loan exits of winger Sam Mather and centre-back Louis Jackson.

Mather had a loan at non-league Rochdale last season, and he has been in good form for United’s under-21 side.

Jackson and Mather were both part of United’s FA Youth Cup winning side in 2022.

Ruben Curley to Stoke City

This one is pending confirmation. The MEN report Manchester United have been negotiating with Stoke City to send Ruben Curley to the club permanently. He was at Stoke’s training ground late on deadline day to undergo a medical.

Curley will go into Stoke’s academy, with United standing to benefit from a future sell-on. The central midfielder recovered from a torn ACL in 2022 to feature for the under-18s title winning team last season.
