New Manchester United signing Patrick Dorgu has been busy introducing himself to the fans.
The 20-year-old Denmark international was unveiled to the Old Trafford faithful on Sunday before Manchester United suffered defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
It was a brief introduction to the chaotic life of a Manchester United footballer. Patrick Dorgu will be tasked with occupying the left wing-back role, which has been a problematic area for United this season.
On Sunday, Diogo Dalot struggled at left wing-back, which is where Dorgu is expected to feature once he settles into his new surroundings.
United agreed to pay an initial £25m to Lecce for Dorgu after several rounds of talks. Ruben Amorim will be eager to get him up to face in order to start games for the Reds.
United need a wing-back with the capabilities of getting up and down the pitch. Dorgu will offer that.

Patrick Dorgu’s ambitions
Dorgu has wasted no time conducting his first official interview as a United first team player.
The Dane spoke about his ambitions at United and to continue his development as one of Europe’s most exciting wing-backs.
“We’re still in a lot of cup competitions so, of course, to win the cup games,” Dorgu said of his aims in an interview with MUTV. “And, of course, to win as many Premier League games as possible.
“My ambition is just to play a lot of games to be a great part of the United family and just to keep pushing and improve any potential.”
Dorgu could make his debut in the FA Cup when United host Leicester City next weekend. It would be a good fixture to test our next left wing-back against top flight opposition.
Dorgu explains No.13 shirt number
Dorgu will wear the No.13 shirt at United, just like he did at Lecce in Italy.
When asked about his shirt number, Dorgu told club media: “I had it since I came to Lecce.
“I think it’s good to keep going with what’s going good so I think, yeah, no.13 is working really good for me at the moment.”
