Dylan Levitt sealed his loan transfer to Dundee United on Friday afternoon.
48 hours later he was in the team’s starting line-up away at St Johnstone.
It was a positive start for the Manchester United youngster, who had looked bright in the two pre-season matches he played for the Red Devils in July.

Levitt helped the Tangerines to a 1-0 victory which lifts them to sixth in the Scottish Premiership table after three games.
Levitt thanked supporters, the away fans and well wishes he had received online, after a happy start to his loan.
It was a less successful afternoon for fellow Manchester United loanee Reece Devine, who was an unused substitute for St Johnstone.
Levitt had a solid debut, making 64 touches, more than any opposing midfielder, and showed an ability to mix it, winning three aerial duels.
Last season Levitt had a poor loan at Charlton Athletic with the physical nature of senior football a challenging step up. He was also impacted by illness as the first half of the season went on.
After another loan in Croatia in the second half of the season and going to the Euros with Wales, where he made one appearance, Levitt is ready for his latest challenge.
The 20-year-old showed positive intent in possession firing one shot on target and created one chance.
What was most telling about Levitt’s performance was the reaction of Dundee United fans, who flocked to his message to respond with praise and positivity commending him on an eye-catching debut.
