Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot is celebrating reaching the under-21 European Championship final.
Dalot’s Portugal beat Iberian neighbours Spain 1-0 in the semi-final on Thursday night.
Spain dominated the game but could not find a way past Portugal’s resolute defence, with Dalot helping to shut them out.

Portugal then took a late lead through an own goal from Spain and held on for the 1-0 victory.
Dalot sent a message after the victory, which read: “The dream continues in the Final. TOGETHER! Thank you all for your tireless support.”
Dalot one game away from silverware
Dalot’s Portugal have now kept clean sheets in four out of five matches in the competition.
The one exception was the quarter-final against Italy which went to extra-time and ended 5-3 to Portugal.
Apart from in that end to end encounter, a strong defence has been the key to Portugal reaching the final.
The final will be held on Sunday night and Portugal will take on Germany after their semi-final victory over the Netherlands.

Reaching the final is a big achievement for Portugal, especially when you consider that England were knocked out in their group back in March.
Dalot’s reputation will be helped by Portugal’s achievement to reach this stage. If his future lies away from Old Trafford, extra interest from clubs abroad may be generated from his success.
