Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken out on social media about his return to Manchester United.
Ronaldo says he is back where he belongs and has paid tribute to mentor Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo’s return was officially announced by Manchester United earlier today.
The winger is currently on international duty with Portugal before linking up with his teammates at Carrington.
Ronaldo leaves Juventus after three years in Serie A, having left United for Real Madrid in 2009.
He returns as a five times Champions League winner, lifting his first of the five at Manchester United back in 2008 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson reportedly had a key role in helping convince Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford, the MEN reported.
Ronaldo has signed a two-year contract with an option of a third year.
