Manchester United completed up a deal to sign Facundo Pellistri on transfer deadline day.
The Uruguayan signed on a five-year deal from Penarol and is set to fly to England to join up with the team after undergoing a medical in his homeland.
United paid 8.75 Euros to sign Pellistri, a fee of £7.9 million, AS report.

One of the interesting details in the report from AS, is that Manchester City had an offer rejected for Pellistri in July.
City’s offer was rejected because it did not include a sell on clause.
AS report United agreed that Penarol would receive 20 per cent of the profits from a future sale of Pellistri.
The report also noted that Pellistri was ‘hours away’ from signing for Lyon, before United made their move.
It described United’s move as ‘an express operation to acquire one of the greatest talents in South America.’
A player with a bright future
Pellistri will head to Old Trafford to start working with the club’s coaches immediately.
It is likely he will feature initially for the under-23s, and if he performs well immediately, he will be fast-tracked. United will be patient.

Uruguayan newspaper Ovacion even speculate on the possibility of Pellistri being sent out on loan to another European club in January to get regular playing time.
That will be a conversation to have nearer the time. United may take the view that they want to keep a closer eye on his development first hand.
Pellistri is not to be counted on for the first team this season – but if he can contribute and make a contribution then it will be a big bonus for a team which needs quality wing play.
