Manchester United’s key signing this summer was Bryan Mbeumo, and finally, he has arrived in pre-season training with his new teammates.

The saga of Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United lasted almost the entirety of June and most of July, although this is a distant memory now.

United confirmed the signing of Mbeumo on Monday, with the Cameroon international costing an initial £65m, with Brentford entitled to £6m in add-ons should the terms be triggered.

Despite the prolonged negotiations, the important thing for United was making sure Mbeumo was on the plane to the USA this week, and that box has been ticked.

Mbeumo had his first United interview, which was released on Tuesday, and now, he has been pictured training with his teammates at Carrington ahead of the US tour.

Mbeumo is in United’s squad for the US tour and was even in a video alongside Andre Onana on the plane as the pair settled in for the flight.

However, before heading to the States, Mbeumo had already taken part in his first training session with teammates at Carrington, with photos being released on Tuesday afternoon.

In one image, Mbeumo can be seen running out of the end of the now infamous ‘United gauntlet’ in training.

In another, Mbeumo could be seen involved in a rondo drill with his teammates, chasing the ball, while other images showed the 26-year-old dribbling the ball.

Seeing that Mbeumo is already getting stuck into training even before the tour is encouraging and should benefit him, allowing for a quick integration into the squad.

When will Bryan Mbeumo debut for Manchester United

Mbeumo already looks right at home alongside his United teammates, with a big smile on his face during training.

Settling in quickly will be absolutely crucial for Mbeumo as he hasn’t got long to wait until he can make his debut in United colours.

In fact, Mbeumo is likely to make his debut later this week on Saturday night when United takes on West Ham in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium.

Amorim will want to build cohesion between his attackers, and so we would expect that Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Amad will all start together alongside Bruno Fernandes.

Mbeumo is a transformational addition for the club, and we cannot wait to see them in action.
