Bruno Fernandes got in on the act as Manchester United demolished Leeds 6-2.
After a surprising game against Sheffield United in which he had no goals and no assists, it was always going to be tough to keep him quiet.
He struck twice against Leeds and provided an assist.
Fernandes is the model of consistent excellence and has been across his Manchester United career.

When he signed for United at the end of January, he went on a storming run of form which helped the team to secure an improbable third place finish.
During this stretch Fernandes scored 12 goals and provided eight assists, in 20 games. As much as rivals may wish it, this cannot be put down to a fluke run. Fernandes really is that good.
During his first 20 games this season, Fernandes has matched his impressive levels of production.
He has 13 goals and seven assists, continuing his goal per game contribution.
Figures could easily be higher
Fernandes created three chances in the win over Leeds. If not for Anthony Martial’s wasteful finishing, he would have finished the game with more than one assist.
This season he is averaging a consistent 3.2 key passes per game this season in the Premier League.
If he had not been taken off and rested for the final 20 minutes against Leeds, he could well have added to his tally further.

There are no complaints at all from United fans about Fernandes’ contribution. He is proving to be a bargain at the fee paid for him.
If he can keep up this level of performance over his next 20, and next 40 games, United will be laughing. Right now there is no reason to think his performances will drop off.
