Manchester United’s summer 2025 transfer window was the best in a long time, with Ineos completely fixing two massive problems.
Heading into the window, there were three big issues that Manchester United needed to solve.
United fixed the goalkeeper position with Senne Lammens, replacing the frequently underperforming Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana.
Additionally, United managed to overhaul the attacking line-up, which faltered so terribly last season. Benjamin Sesko has brought life to the number nine role, while Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have both been bright sparks.
However, only one could be voted as Ben Foster’s signing of the season for the club.

In total, United’s signings have mostly been impressive this season; however, of the lot, Lammens, Sesko, and Mbeumo are the three to begin settling in quickest, with Cunha struggling with an injury.
Ben Foster has now taken it upon himself to rate the signings this summer, picking the best on his YouTube channel ‘The Cycling GK’.
“I think Bryan Mbeumo has probably been the best signing for Man United so far this season. I like his work rate. I just think for me, the harder you work, the luckier you get.
“Yeah. And I don’t mind players that work hard. You can forgo everything else. If you’re working hard and give me everything you’ve got, I think you’ve got a chance.”
Similar to Foster, Mbeumo has impressed Ruben Amorim early into his time at the club, and he already looks like the most dangerous player in the squad for United.

In his time at the club, Mbeumo has been impressive, shining as the best player on the pitch for United and creating lots of chances for his teammates.
So far, Mbeumo has only managed two goals and one assist this season, but he deserves more, underperforming his expected goals as his teammates underperform theirs.
Despite some teething problems, Mbeumo has formed a deadly pairing with Amad, which sees the right flank look absolutely lethal for United.
Additionally, Sesko is finding his feet and beginning to link up very well with Mbeumo.
The results of this are yet to come; however, even at the moment, Mbeumo is a bona fide success.
Things should only keep getting better.
