Former Manchester United star Angel Gomes made his feelings clear after he picked up the first assist in his England career in the 3-1 win over Finland on Sunday.
Angel Gomes was called up to the England squad under interim manager Lee Carsley and made his Three Lions debut during the September international break.
Lee Carsley was appointed interim manager of the Three Lions after Gareth Southgate stepped down as head coach of England following Euro 2024.
Gomes has made three appearances for England since his call-up to the national team, with the ex-Manchester United player making two starts for the Three Lions.
The 24-year-old Lille star made his debut against the Republic of Ireland last month after he came off the bench in England’s 2-0 win in the Nations League.
Gomes was then handed his first England start against Finland in September and impressed with his performance in the 2-0 win at Wembley.

Gomes sends message and Man Utd star reacts
Angel Gomes was included in the England squad again for the October international break, with Lee Carsley’s men resuming their Nations League campaign.
Carsley’s side were stunned last Thursday in a shock 2-1 defeat to Greece at Wembley, with Gomes left on the bench as an unused substitute.
However, Gomes returned to the starting XI on Sunday for the Nations League fixture against Finland away from home and impressed with his performance.
The former Manchester United player picked up an assist in the first half for England, with the Three Lions picking up the win at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
Gomes took to Instagram after the Nations League match and welcomed the Three Lions securing all three points after bouncing back from the Greece defeat.
“Always a pleasure,” he wrote to his followers.

Harry Maguire, who was left out of the England squad for the October break due to injury, wasted no time praising Three Lions star Gomes for his performance.
Responding to Gomes’ post, Harry Maguire wrote: “Well done, mate.”
Roy Keane praises England star Gomes
Gomes set up Manchester City star Jack Grealish for England’s opener and earned high praise for his showing at half-time from United legend Roy Keane.
Speaking on ITV, Roy Keane said: “A real bit of quality. A brilliant goal, if you saw France or Spain score a goal like this, you’d be praising them.
“Nice and patient, Gomes doing what you do, passing it forward, and he just seems to wander in there.
“Jack draws a few players over, which obviously helps him eventually when he gets in there.
“But this pass again, Trent [Alexander-Arnold], nice and simple. Sharp, these couple of touches from Gomes and this last piece… honestly. Pure quality.”
