Alejandro Garnacho has set out his clear-cut objective for Manchester United in the 2024-25 campaign, despite Erik ten Hag being sacked from Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag’s reign at the Premier League club came to an end last week after a 2-1 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium in late October.
Manchester United failed to impress in their Premier League campaign under Ten Hag, who had signed a contract extension with United in the summer.
The Red Devils languish in 13th place in the Premier League table and have only managed three league wins in the current campaign.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken charge of United after Ten Hag’s dismissal and will remain as interim manager until the start of the November international break.
Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim is set to permanently succeed Ten Hag at Old Trafford and the Portuguese manager will arrive at the club on 11th November.

Garnacho makes Man Utd prediction
Manchester United agreed to pay the £9.25m release clause in Ruben Amorim’s contract, with the 39-year-old widely praised for his work at Sporting CP so far.
Amorim’s first match as United manager will be on 24th October when the Red Devils travel to Portman Road for their Premier League clash with Ipswich Town.
Alejandro Garnacho has admitted that United face a tall order going forward after the sacking of Erik ten Hag and the impending arrival of Sporting CP manager Amorim.
The 20-year-old Spain-born winger has already made an early prediction that United will “improve over the next few months” and could “win a trophy” this season.
“Of course, it’s a bit difficult at this moment, but the most important thing is to keep going,” he told the United Review, as per The Daily Mirror.
“The season has only just started and we need to try and improve as a team to win every game and make our fans proud.
“Hopefully, we will improve over the next few months to have a great season and to win a trophy.”
Van Nistelrooy welcomes Man Utd team spirit
Ruud van Nistelrooy believes that Manchester United can build on their momentum for Thursday’s Europa League clash after the 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday.
“I think the players take a lot of responsibility,” he said.
“They also know they needed to change and I tried to help them, get them focused on their jobs and get the best out of them and motivate them to become the best they can.
“I can do that for two more games. It’s a good group of players, a good group of people and I think what you saw today was a team with spirit that left everything they had on the pitch.
“You saw the connection there with the fans that then occurs and that’s what we’re looking for. I can’t wait to build on that for Thursday.”
