Manchester United made it two wins in a matter of days as Ruben Amorim saw his side beat Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Thursday’s Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt was perhaps harder work than it should have been but Ruben Amorim secured his first win as Manchester United boss.
As Everton arrived at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, Amorim was hoping to notch his first Premier League win.
United duly obliged as Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both scored braces in a 4-0 thumping.
Rashford has praised Amorim and whilst United are far from the finished product, a 4-0 home win is always going to be cause for celebration.
The attention will quickly turn to Wednesday night as United travel down to North London to take on Arsenal.

Ruben Amorim on Amad Diallo, praised Ruud van Nistelrooy
Rashford continued his hot start to life under Amorim whilst Zirkzee bagged his first goals since the opening day of the season.
The goalscorers will grab the attention but Amad Diallo deserves some praise too.
United fans have been raving about Amad and it’s no surprise.
Amad set up Rashford’s second goal, waiting for Rashford’s run before playing him in behind the Everton defence to score.
The Ivorian added another assist by teeing up Zirkzee to score, making it 4-0 with a composed finish.
Amad set up United’s opener against Ipswich too and is making a real impact down United’s right flank.
Amorim has now hailed Amad, suggesting that the wide man is ‘big in talent’ even if he is small in stature.
As quoted by Rich Fay, Amorim feels that Amad still needs to improve but is in ‘great’ form right now – and part of that is down to Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Amorim believes that Van Nistelrooy’s work with Amad has really helped his development with United now reaping the rewards.
Van Nistelrooy has now become Leicester City boss but his brief spell in charge of United has given Amorim a potential star in Amad.
Amorim on ‘explosive’ talent
Speaking on MUTV, Amorim also praised Amad as an ‘explosive’ talent.
Amorim noted that he can’t really take credit for Amad’s pressing ability, suggesting that it’s just natural to him.
Amorim added that Amad is ‘smart’ and that ability is landing him a key role in the early weeks of this new United era.
“I’d like to take credit for it, but that’s him. He’s like that. He’s smart. He’s explosive,” said Amorim.
Amad has improved defensively under Amorim but isn’t a wing back by nature and he is being given a relatively free role on the right flank.
Noussair Mazraoui is supporting him up the right flank, combining his right back history with his current right-sided centre back role.
There have been promising signs for United and Amorim will hope to see more quality from Amad moving forward.
