Manchester United picked up a second win in a matter of days and a first Premier League win under Ruben Amorim by beating Everton 4-0.
Ruben Amorim watched on as his Manchester United side beat Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday night, securing his first win in the job.
United were back to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon though, welcoming Everton to Old Trafford.
Amorim took the bold decision to start Joshua Zirkzee over Rasmus Hojlund in attack – but it paid off.
Zirkzee scored twice in a thumping 4-0 win with Marcus Rashford adding a brace of his own.
Hojlund promised to try and beat Jesper Lindstrom but had to watch from the bench as Zirkzee took his chance to shine.

Marcus Rashford on Ruben Amorim
Zirkzee has been heavily linked with Juventus of late but finding his first goals since the opening weekend of the season will have been a major relief.
The same goes for Marcus Rashford too, who has made a strong start to life under new boss Amorim.
Rashford scored the first goal of the Amorim era, putting United 1-0 up at Ipswich Town last weekend.
Rashford then added two goals against Everton, helping United secure a thumping home win.
We know how great Rashford can be at his best but his inconsistency has certainly been a frustration in recent times.
Rashford appears to be loving life under Amorim though and he has praised the new United boss.
As quoted by BBC Sport, Rashford believes that the connection between Amorim and the rest of the United squad will just continue to grow.
Rashford added that Amorim has brought a ‘great attitude’ to Old Trafford and that has been incredibly infectious with United players really buying in.
“The connection is going to build and grow the more we get used to him. He’s [Ruben Amorim] come in in a busy period and hopefully the connection keeps building and growing. He’s come in with a great attitude and it’s passed onto the players,” said Rashford.

Rashford finding his role under Amorim
Rashford started as a centre forward against Ipswich and opened the scoring but didn’t have a lasting impact on the game.
Against Everton, Amorim brought in Zirkzee and played Rashford and Bruno Fernandes around him.
Zirkzee likes to drop deep and Rashford was able to run on and attack space behind the Everton back line.
Perhaps Rashford’s first goal was a little fortunate thanks to a deflection from United target Jarrad Branthwaite but the second was a superb run in behind and finish into the net.
Amorim is still learning about his United squad and will be trying to find the right role for Rashford in his 3-4-3 approach.
Amorim didn’t love Rashford up top against Ipswich but found him in form playing off Zirkzee against Everton.
Whether it’s up top or out wide, Rashford is making an impact right now – and long may that continue as he takes on a key role in this new United era.
