Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge of Manchester United will certainly not be an easy one as he prepares to take on Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town.
It has been a long and arduous wait for Ruben Amorim’s first game as Manchester United head coach but Sunday’s match against newly-promoted Ipswich Town represents his first Premier League test.
Amorim has a tough first five games at United but the Portuguese manager certainly looks ready for the challenge of restoring the Red Devils to the summit of European football.
For now, though, Amorim’s first test will be a trip to Portman Road to try and kick off his reign at the club with a victory.

Manchester United’s clash against Ipswich at Portman Road is available to watch with a Sky Sports subscription.
The game in East Anglia kicks off at 4:30 pm on Sunday the 24th of November, following the conclusion of Liverpool’s 2 pm clash against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.
United’s game against Ipswich will be available to watch on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.

Manchester United’s form ahead of Ipswich clash
Prior to Amorim’s appointment as United head coach, Ruud Van Nistelrooy steadied the ship at Old Trafford after Erik ten Hag’s sacking.
Under Van Nistelrooy, United won three out of their four games with the Red Devils picking up a 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Dutchman’s final game in interim charge.
United’s last defeat came against West Ham United which proved to be Ten Hag’s final game in charge of the club.

Kobbie Mainoo has returned to first-team training for United and could be in line for a start against Ipswich.
Tyrell Malacia returned for United’s under 21s but he may be a few weeks away from featuring in Amorim’s 18-man squad.
Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro are also back in first-team training and will be hoping to return in a new look back three with the Englishman playing as a wing-back.
Matthijs De Ligt performed well in a back three for the Netherlands so he looks set to be the central centre-back for the Red Devils against Ipswich, that is if Amorim insists on playing with a back three.
Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez returned from international duty early after suffering injuries with Sweden and Argentina respectively but it is unclear when they will return for United.
