Manchester United youngster Connor Stanley scored the first goal of his loan spell this week.
Stanley moved on loan to Atlanta United 2 at the start of April.
The youngster’s contract situation is a little unclear. He was not mentioned in United’s list of released players in June, although is not thought to have an Old Trafford future.

At present he still lists himself as a United player on his Instagram page. His loan runs until November.
Atlanta United 2 play in the second tier of US football, the USL Championship.
This week he scored the first goal of his loan spell against Indy Eleven in a 1-1 draw.
You can see his goal below, with full overblown US commentary for dramatic effect.
Stanley was awarded Atlanta United 2’s man of the match for his efforts.
Club blog Dirty South Soccer reported: “Stanley is a joy to watch as he doggedly pursues his opponents when on defense and expertly weaves his way through opposing defenders in possession. To top things off, his goal was a thing of beauty.”
Next step
It is very possible Stanley’s move to Atlanta will be made permanent. He would surely relish the challenge of playing MLS football if the club want him to make the step up.
Stanley, 19, barely played for Manchester United’s under-23s last season and so an exit seems likely one way or another.
It is good to see him making his mark on loan. This was his 10th game and he already has an assist to his name too.
