Manchester United have announced that Amazon will record a behind-the-scenes documentary of the 2026/27 season.
Last season, Manchester United rejected an Amazon documentary proposal because head coach Ruben Amorim shut down the idea.
But this season, an offer returned to the table, and United have confirmed that an ‘All or Nothing’ documentary series will be filmed over the 2026/27 season, starting in pre-season this summer.
The documentary series, which has previously followed Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal, will be released in the summer of 2027.

All the details behind Man United’s ‘All or Nothing’ documentary
According to Andy Mitten, United have struck a “record” deal for the documentary, and United in Focus have spoken exclusively to football finance expert Adam Williams for all the details.
“If a £10m offer was on the table previously, it’s likely it’s going to be in that area again this time, given that the previous offer collapsed because of Amorin’s concerns, not the finances.
“Potentially, it could be a little bit higher because they can offer the Champions League, but it won’t move the needle too much, I wouldn’t have thought.
“I think this will just be a flat fee because Amazon don’t usually pay royalties. Basically, they will pay for production and give United the £10m and, thereafter, they will will own the intellectual property.
“I think it’s entirely possible that Carrick will have had a term in his contract that stipulated that he has to be on board with the documentary, too.
“It’s easy revenue for United at a time when they are really trying to squeeze more juice from their commercial income. The flip side, of course, is the risk of reputational damage if United go on to have a stinker in 2026-27, or if the presence of film crews is distracting for players.
“But the contracts between the two parties probably gives United a veto over any footage that would be genuinely embarrassing for the club. That tends to be how these sweetheart deals work.“

How ‘All or Nothing’ clubs have fared during filming
United will be the fourth Premier League club to allow Amazon cameras behind the scenes during a Premier League season.
Rivals Manchester City were the first to sign off on a documentary, and what followed was their Centurion season in 2017/18.
Up next were Tottenham, who filmed the season where Mauricio Pochettino was sacked and Jose Mourinho took charge. They finished sixth in their filmed 2019/20 season.

Finally, Arsenal allowed cameras behind the scenes in 2021/22 and they went on to finish fifth in the Premier League.
Ineos have aspirations to win the Premier League title by 2028, and they would love nothing more than to capture a title-winning season in 2026/27.
