‘Here we go’… Fabrizio Romano shares details of €55m ‘done deal’ that impacts Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford can’t catch a break right now in the transfer market or for England, and another update has arrived.

It started with being sent back by Barcelona from his loan without triggering his option, then they paid £70m for Anthony Gordon.

Since then, Gordon has also taken his starting place for England at the World Cup, and interest from elsewhere in his services keeps cooling down.

With not many options in his future looking bright right now, he’s received another update that affects him directly.

What’s YOUR message to Marcus Rashford after Barcelona’s deal for Anthony Gordon?

Should Man Utd use this reality check to try and bring Rashford back?

Bayern Munich set to sign Marcus Rashford alternative

Marcus Rashford alternative” is a phrase that seems to be getting used a lot this summer, which is a damning indictment of the player.

After Barcelona signed Gordon and bid twice that for Julian Alvarez, Bayern Munich entered the race for Rashford.

Their interest was described as “concrete” at one time, but it seems like that trail will go cold before it even gets hot.

That’s because Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern are set to complete a deal to sign Ismael Saibari from PSV, with a “Here we go” arriving for the transfer.

Bayern’s interest in Saibari was always going to be tricky for Rashford, and it isn’t new, but it looks like they’ve finally made their choice.

Marcus Rashford evidently does not want to return to Man Utd – There is no way back for him surely?!

Even if they were to come for Rashford now, it would be along the same lines as Barcelona’s stance, where he’s looked at as a cheap backup they can corner Man Utd for later in the window.

The ball is in Rashford’s court now. Does it still stick to his desperate “Please Barcelona” stance, which the Spanish club have taken advantage of, or does he finally get a grip and rebuild his career at Old Trafford?

Knowing Rashford, you wouldn’t count on the latter happening, but if there was ever a time to make that happen, it’s after this reality check to add to what he’s already gone through this summer.
