Manchester United are preparing to confirm the first signing of this summer’s transfer window.
Manchester United have already completed a deal for Ederson, but his involvement in the World Cup for Brazil has meant he won’t be signing for the club until later in July.
This sets up Cristian Orozco to be United’s first confirmed arrival of the summer.
The 17-year-old Colombian was signed by United last year in advance of officially moving after his 18th birthday.
Now, he is about to take that step.

Colombian journalist at AS Colombia, Pipe Sierra, has claimed that the deal will soon be announced.
The tweet explains Orozco will travel to Manchester on Sunday with scout Giuseppe Antonaccio, resembling a similar journey to the one Diego Leon made from Paraguay.
Once in the North West, Orozco will undergo medical exams before being officially announced by United, with his contract likely to come into effect on his birthday, July 13th.
Interestingly, it also says that Orozco will join the United U21 side during pre-season in Germany this summer, as opposed to the first-team.

It has been almost a year since United agreed a deal to sign Orozco this summer, and looking back gives great reason to be excited.
Upon reporting that the deal was done, Fabrizio Romano claimed what United had been saying about their thoughts on Orozco.
“Save the name. Cristian Orozco is coming from Fortaleza. A Colombian defensive midfielder with intensity and a player with big potential.
“Manchester United are convinced that they have found a gem with this player, then it will be about potential, training, and working hard. United are very happy.
“He is ready to arrive and become a United player. Manchester United believes it was a very good opportunity.”
United have some brilliant people making these decisions, which suggests that Orozco is a really exciting move and is worth having high hopes for.
