Carlos Baleba to Manchester United is a transfer that has gone all silent this summer, but now it has emerged that he is still hopeful of a move.
For the past 10 months, Carlos Baleba has been a midfielder that Manchester United have been linked with time and time again.
It has been indicated that Michael Carrick would be a fan of Baleba if a signing were to be made. However, it has been claimed Baleba isn’t among United’s top targets for the midfield, likely driven by his outrageous price tag.
But he remains one of the options this summer and has been taking active steps himself in case this does happen.

Carlos Baleba is talking with Manchester United players about a transfer move
While a move doesn’t seem imminent, and United could end up looking elsewhere, Baleba shouldn’t be written off.
Baleba was excellent in his cameo against United last month in what had been billed as an audition of sorts.
Now, The Sun has claimed that Baleba is not short of allies in the United squad should he make the switch.
Baleba has been talking about a possible transfer with United players, likely his national teammate Bryan Mbeumo and also former Lille teammate Leny Yoro.
At the Amex last month, Baleba was also spotted talking to Bruno Fernandes after the match, which had supporters wondering whether it was two future teammates in conversation.

United could return to Baleba this summer
While it has become clear that United aren’t completely convinced on Baleba this summer, the way things are going could mean he soon returns as a top choice.
Mateus Fernandes is being valued at £80m, which is arguably a fee that United won’t be spending on him this summer.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid want to keep Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, making that move very difficult to complete.
United have already agreed to sign Ederson, although he won’t be in the early stages of pre-season after a call-up for Brazil.
All of this, with options becoming harder to sign, such as Elliot Anderson, means that Baleba might end up coming back into the picture. He is also not at the World Cup and could play a role immediately if signed.
