Manchester United could be set to ship some more deadweight in the upcoming January transfer window.
Erik ten Hag has been hit with a monumental amount of issues surrounding his first-team squad at Old Trafford this season.
The Dutchman has had injury issues, player fiascos, and private life problems amid as many club statements as Manchester United have probably scored goals this season. It’s been a tough one.
This is why there have been few names circulating to be leaving United in January – five, to be exact.
Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho looks bang on to be leaving Manchester United in January.
Fabrizio Romano stated that there was a 99.9% likelihood of his departure in the upcoming January window, via Caught Offside.
The winger had that infamous social media dig at Ten Hag following the Arsenal match, which has led to the 23-year-old not featuring for a single minute after this – and it looks like he won’t feature a single minute more in red.
Casemiro

Following some concerning injury issues and a real drop in performance – it isn’t out of the question that Casemiro could leave the club this January.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. As it stands, he’s still a ‘very important player in the United setup, but if the right offer came in – would it be wise to cash in?
Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the future of the 31-year-old.
Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial will be wondering how he’s still at Manchester United.
The Frenchman has had injury issues galore over the years, which has led to just 313 appearances since 2015.
The problem with the ageing forward is that no club are willing to take a punt on him, given his track record in the medical tent.
Fabrizio Romano reckons there is definitely a possibility he could be off in January.
Donny van de Beek

Donny van de Beek is ‘very much expected to leave’ United in January.
The Dutchman has been somewhat forgotten as a United player. The former Ballon d’Or nominee had the world at his feet when arriving in Manchester, but will now be leaving with it having fallen apart.
A sad tale of wasted potential. Expect to have seen the last of Donny in red.
Raphael Varane

A man in a similar situation to Casemiro – but arguably worse has to be Raphael Varane.
The legendary centre-half arrived under Ole Gunnar Solkskjaer, in a deal which looked to be one of the best in the club’s history.
Sadly, two years on – Varane isn’t the player he was at Real Madrid. He’s fallen right out of favour under Ten Hag, with the manager even preferring Jonny Evans over him this season.
Again; like Casemiro, he’s still an important part of the squad… but money certainly talks.
