Manchester United need to finalise some outgoings in order to unlock potential incomings business but questions still surround Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United are yet to pounce in the January transfer window despite Ruben Amorim being in dire need of reinforcements.
United’s £100million summer net spend means players must leave the club in order to secure incomings.
Antony is set to join Real Betis, Tyrell Malacia is available and Chelsea are chasing Alejandro Garnacho.
If those outgoings are agreed, signings may well arrive at Old Trafford with United chasing Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu.
One high-profile departure could really help though with Marcus Rashford’s future still yet to be decided.

European club hold Marcus Rashford concern
Rashford has been exiled by Amorim since the 2-1 Europa League win over Plzen in December.
It’s now more than a month since Rashford last turned out for United and his future appears to lie away from Old Trafford.
This is a sad state of affairs for a homegrown star but Rashford leaving the club is no absolute certainty this month.
Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Rashford in a move which may give United fans a sense of deja vu.
Dortmund signed an unwanted United forward last January by landing Jadon Sancho on loan.
Rashford is now on their radar and Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg claims that Dortmund have made ‘direct contact’ over a deal for Rashford.
There are problems though as even a loan deal for Rashford until the season will cost around €10million (£8million) including fees and wages.
Plettenberg adds that there are ‘internal concerns’ inside Dortmund over a deal for Rashford because of his position.
They view Rashford as a left winger but they already have an English star in that position in Jame Gittens.
Maybe they will move Gittens to the right side but there is seemingly some doubt over paying considerable cash for a player who may clash with Dortmund’s top talent.

Erik ten Hag lurking as Borussia Dortmund struggle
This concern is somewhat ironic given that United were linked with Gittens mere days ago.
Any idea of a swap involving Rashford and Gittens is pretty unlikely, but United may be wise to at least ask the question.
Rashford’s potential move to Dortmund comes with the Bundesliga club in a troubling run of form.
Dortmund have won just one of the last seven Bundesliga games and have now lost three in a row.
Nuri Sahin is under enormous pressure in his first season as manager and Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Bologna could be make-or-break.
Dortmund are being linked with Erik ten Hag to replace Sahin with the Dutchman looking for his first opportunity since leaving United.
Rashford and Ten Hag weren’t always on the same page at United but they could end up reuniting in Germany if Dortmund advance moves for both men.
