Manchester United actively looking at Danilo
United have lost Casemiro this summer, and clearly the club are missing him already, with Ederson coming in to replace the Brazilian factor in midfield.
But now, according to reports in Brazil, United are also actively considering a move for Danilo at Botafogo.
Danilo was first linked last week with the story being that he had been kicked out of Botafogo’s first team plans until his future was sorted out.
Well, now UOL have all the latest.
The report claims that United are considering the 25-year-old as a possible signing this summer, rivalling AC Milan with this interest.
It is explained that both clubs have already made offers for Danilo, but Botafogo are not going to rush into a decision, because they believe his involvement in the World Cup this summer will lead to his value growing.

It can be revealed that £243m will already be leaving Old Trafford this summer…
Danilo would replace Casemiro’s goal output for Manchester United
Danilo has spoken so highly of Casemiro in recent times. If signed, United could see him replace the goals that will be lost from Casemiro’s departure.
This season in the Brazilian Serie A, Danilo has scored seven goals in just 12 games, with an additional two assists.
Of these, only one was a header, but they have all come from inside the box, showing he is a real threat in the final third.
At just 5ft 9in, Danilo isn’t the imposing player Casemiro was, and his aerial duel-winning ability tells that story with a poor win rate of just 38%.
Danilo does excel, though, when it comes to running; with a big engine on him, he is in the 93rd percentile for recoveries in the Brazilian league.
The former Nottingham Forest midfielder feels more like an Ederson alternative than a signing to arrive as well.
