Manchester United are already being linked with potential signings for 2025 but there are problems emerging over one huge target.
We should probably expect to see Manchester United move for a new left back in 2025.
Luke Shaw’s injury problems continue and United fans haven’t seen Tyrell Malacia in action for nearly 18 months now.
Diogo Dalot is filling in there but a real left back has to be a priority for United either in January or at the end of the season.
Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell has been linked whilst United looked into signing Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth over the summer.
Expect to see plenty of left backs being linked with United in the coming months and one big name is already being discussed.

Manchester United already hit Alphonso Davies problem
Reports on Monday suggested that United are interested in signing Alphonso Davies alongside his Bayern Munich teammates Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane.
Davies is out of contract at the end of the season and would certainly represent an exciting signing at left back.
The Canadian international is one of the fastest players in the world and still has so much potential at just 23.
Davies would mark a huge coup for United and Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has offered his information on a move.
Plettenberg claims that United have ‘gathered information’ on Davies with early discussions already taking place.
However, Plettenberg adds that United already believe the chances of a deal are not particularly high.
It’s stated that Real Madrid are ‘one of the top favourites’ for Davies if he even decides to leave Bayern at all.
Bayern are open to handing Davies a new contract, meaning United seemingly believe that he has other options which will appeal more than a move to Old Trafford.
United may look to repeat Leny Yoro deal
Beating Real to a signing is never easy.
If Florentino Perez wants a player, he tends to get his man.
The famous white kit, the Santiago Bernabeu, the chance to reach regular Champions League finals… it’s all a major lure for top players.

Davies – hailed as ‘explosive’ by Thomas Muller – may be no different but United have actually managed to sign a Real Madrid target in recent months.
Defender Leny Yoro was wanted by Real, but they were more interested in waiting until his Lille deal ended at the ned of this season.
United managed to swoop in and secure Yoro ahead of Real, marking a significant coup in the process.
Signing Davies would be a little more tricky given that he is already an established superstar, but Ineos may hold out hope of tempting him to Manchester.
