Aston Villa’s position regarding Morgan Rogers has emerged amid growing interest from Manchester United and three more major clubs, according to reports.

Morgan Rogers has been linked with Manchester United in the past and the Red Devils have been exploring bringing another attacking talent to Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old Aston Villa forward is currently away from Villa Park after he was called up to represent England at the 2026 World Cup under Thomas Tuchel.

Rogers is under contract with the Premier League club until 2031 and the England international has been with Villa since he left Middlesbrough back in 2024.

Aston Villa’s transfer message to the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea about England star Morgan Rogers

Morgan Rogers played 55 times across all competitions in the 2025-26 campaign and the Aston Villa attacker netted 14 times and registered 12 assists for his side.

According to Sky Sports, Villa have now ‘made it clear’ to rival clubs that the Premier League side have no intention of selling Manchester United-linked Rogers.

The publication added that United are not alone in their interest in Rogers, with fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea keeping close tabs on him.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been tipped as another major European club that could be ready to make a move for Villa and England star Rogers this summer.

Man Utd face a serious challenge from Arsenal in the race to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa

Sky Sports added that there has been ‘no formal approach’ for Man Utd target Rogers since the summer transfer window opened earlier this month.

However, it has been reported that the lack of formal offers is ‘almost certain’ to be based on Villa’s desire to keep hold of Rogers for the 2026-27 campaign.

Despite Villa remaining cryptic on an asking price for Rogers, it has been claimed that the club are ‘anticipating an approach’ from Arsenal in the summer window.

Villa ace Rogers has featured in England’s opening Group L matches against Croatia and Ghana at the World Cup in North America this month.
