Man Utd have scouted ‘really special’ wonderkid three games in a row, Ineos want 2025 move

Since taking over the footballing operations of Manchester United earlier this year, Ineos has made it clear that youth will take centre stage.

Academy football is ingrained into the history of Manchester United, with the motto Youth, Courage, Success being lived up to throughout the years.

Under Ineos, this will be the aim as Sir Jim Ratcliffe admitted he wanted to sign the stars of tomorrow and develop them into world beaters, rather than the stars of today. The United part-owner told Geraint Thomas Cycling Club that this type of move is “not smart”.

During the summer, we saw this transfer ethos on display as Ineos put together a dynasty of youth players

Now, it appears Jason Wilcox and Dan Ashworth have their eyes on the next target to join Chido Obi-Martin.

Manchester United scouting Tyler Dibling

Southampton may be rock bottom of the Premier League, but their shining light has undoubtedly been 18-year-old Tyler Dibling.

United were first linked in September after Dibling toyed with Diogo Dalot at St Mary’s Stadium.

Now, according to The Sun, United are ramping up interest in the teenager.

United have been to watch Dibling in action for his last three games – including being at the Amex for his impressive outing.

Ineos will face interest from Aston Villa, while clubs in Germany and Italy have also taken notice of Dibling’s performances.

A January move looks unlikely to materialise for United, with Southampton more likely to sell in the summer considering the current threat of relegation – which suggests Ineos are planning a 2025 swoop.

Dibling fits Ineos’ recruitment policy and alongside Chris Rigg would see United signing England’s very best talents.

Dibling would be an immense coup for Ineos

Ineos signing Dibling would be a signing the entire fanbase could be on board with and one we would have seen in the Sir Alex Ferguson days.

Technical Director, Wilcox is a huge fan of Dibling, and with his input in youth players, his verdict will go a long way.

Such a talented forward could easily play a big role for Ruben Amorim’s United and he might even be perfect to play in the opposite wing-back slot to Amad Diallo.

Speaking on Match of the Day recently, former Red Devil Dion Dublin praised the “terrific” Dibling, as he raved: “He’s going to be something really special.”

Exciting times for United as Ineos looks to add another gem to the ranks – this time, it’s a player ready for first-team action.
