The summer clearout at Manchester United hasn’t been drastic, but Premier League rivals are now close to signing one Old Trafford man.
For Manchester United, this summer was signalled as one where Ineos would be ruthless and we’d see numerous sales made.
We have to a degree witnessed this, at least far better than during previous summers with Mason Greenwood being the biggest sale of the summer to date at an initial £23m.
Also departing has been Willy Kambwala who has yielded £4.6m up front which could rise as high as £10m.
Donny van de Beek also left for £500k up front. While Alvaro Fernandez headed to Benfica permanently for £5m.
Now though, it could be Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s turn to exit.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka close to West Ham switch
After already bringing in a solid amount through sales, now Wan-Bissaka looks likely to join them as he nears an exit to West Ham.
This comes according to a report from Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth who explains that the Hammers are close to agreeing a deal with United to sign Wan-Bissaka.
Many aspects of the deal are already agreed in principle and there is work to do on the final fee and structure of the deal.
However, United have a degree of confidence that compromises will be made and the deal will go through.
This is of course crucial for United as the club are already trying to replace him with Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
United will be losing a one-of-a-kind player
While, it is probably the right decision for United considering the direction that the club want to go in, selling Wan-Bissaka will be a serious loss.
The right-back is a specialist in winning one-on-ones and is one of a kind in his defensive ability which no winger seems to be able to solve.
It is going forward where he’ll be coming short and why United want to replace him, but it will be a blow to see him depart.
If he joins West Ham, we’re dreading coming up against him as both Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford could have a torrid time.
