Former Manchester United star David de Gea has been excellent since completing his return at Fiorentina.
David de Gea left Manchester United in 2023 with Andre Onana signed for £44m as his replacement at Old Trafford.
However, Onana was dropped by Ruben Amorim this season following a flurry of mistakes and even back-up option Altay Bayindir has disappointed when given an opportunity between the sticks.
As a result, United are expected to sign a new goalkeeper this summer. Whether that be as the new first-choice or as a No.2 is yet to be seen.

Man United make contact over Vanja Milinkovic-Savic deal
One of the goalkeepers on United’s radar is Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who has been a key player for the Serie A side this season.
The 28-year-old is expected to leave Torino this summer and United have made contact over Milinkovic-Savic.
Milinkovic-Savic has a release clause of €20million (£16.9m) this summer, making him a relatively cheap goalkeeping option for Ineos.
It is no surprise that Milinkovic-Savic is attracting interest from around Europe given that data provided by SofaScore rates him as the best goalkeeper in Serie A this season.

Milinkovic-Savic has kept 10 clean sheets in Serie A this season and has averaged a rating of 7.33 across his 34 appearances.
It comfortably ranks him as the best goalkeeper in Italy this season, with former United shot-stopper David de Gea ranking second with a rating of 7.22.
De Gea has kept 11 clean sheets this season, but his overall performance ratings have been slightly weaker than United’s new target.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic could return to Man United
If United do pursue a deal for Milinkovic-Savic this summer, he would be returning to familiar surroundings.
That is because United signed Milinkovic-Savic when he was 17, but he was denied a work permit meaning his agreement was voided in 2015.
Milinkovic-Savic was pictured standing next to Sir Alex Ferguson after he made his move to Manchester, and according to Joe, the 6ft8in goalkeeper is a big United fan.
United once bid £86m for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic – the brother of Vanja – but the offer was rejected by Lazio and he never ended up making a move to Old Trafford.
Years later, his brother could now make the switch.
