Manchester United have completed a second signing of the January transfer window with Patrick Dorgu arriving from Lecce.
The January transfer deadline is just over 24 hours away and Manchester United are ramping up business.
Ayden Heaven joined United from Arsenal on Saturday, finalising a move from his boyhood Gunners.
That has been followed up with another deal as United have now secured the signing of Patrick Dorgu.
The Danish left wing back has penned a five-and-a-half-year deal at Old Trafford, with the option of another year.
Dorgu is viewed as being United’s left wing back of the future but he will be looking to make an instant impact under Ruben Amorim.

Lecce react to Patrick Dorgu’s Manchester United move
Dorgu joined Lecce from Nordsjælland in 2022 and has shown huge potential in Italy.
The 20-year-old has already played more than 50 Serie A games and has been backed for a bright future.
Lecce’s sale of Dorgu has been branded a ‘masterpiece’ in Italy, highlighting that he was a bargain signing but has now become Lecce’s record sale.
Dorgu said goodbye to Lecce on Friday night as he sat on the bench in a 3-1 win over Parma before finalising his move to Manchester.
Lecce have now offered a brief message to Dorgu and United having seen the move officially confirmed on Sunday.
Lecce stated ‘make us proud’ under United’s Instagram post confirming Dorgu’s arrival, clearly wishing him all the best at Old Trafford.
We don’t often see Lecce sell players straight to the Premier League, so Dorgu’s move is a big moment for the Serie A club.
Dorgu has become a top young player with Lecce and they now want to see him become even better with his move to United now signed, sealed and delivered.

Patrick Dorgu follows in Morten Hjulmand’s footsteps
Lecce are actually used to the feeling of selling a top Danish talent to Ruben Amorim.
Before selling Dorgu, Lecce’s record sale was Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand joining Amorim’s Sporting side in 2023.
Ironically, Hjulmand was signed to replace none other than Manuel Ugarte following his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Amorim has now repeated the trick, raiding Lecce for another Danish star in Dorgu.
Dorgu requires a little more polishing and development than Hjulmand did but the talent and potential is there.
United will hope to see Dorgu kick on become a Premier League star, but there must be some patient around him as he transitions to English football.
