Manchester United appear to finally have a deal for Bryan Mbeumo in the pipeline, and other positions could be explored.
It’s taken a while, far too long if we’re being honest, but Manchester United finally appear to be closing in on Bryan Mbeumo.
United have now offered up to £70million for Mbeumo and will hope to finally agree a deal with Brentford after weeks of pursuing the Cameroonian.
United will look to tie up a deal for Mbeumo and then move on to other signings, with Ruben Amorim’s squad in need of reinforcements in a number of areas.
Unwanted players may need to move on first, with exits for the likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho potentially crucial.
Sancho is wanted by Juventus and Alejandro Garnacho has been told to leave, so United will hope to bring in some cash and then move for a new midfielder.

Richard Rios makes Manchester United decision
United need to add quality in midfield, especially with the jury still out on Manuel Ugarte.
Christian Eriksen’s exit leaves United with a hole to fill in midfield, and the name of Richard Rios has been emerging once again.
United scouted Palmeiras star Rios at the Club World Cup and are considering the Colombian as a potential addition.
Roma are also in the mix for Rios and want to lure him to the Eternal City as a major addition for new boss Gian Piero Gasperini.
Tuttomercatoweb now claim that Rios has actually said ‘yes’ to joining Roma – and prefers to join them over United.
Roma have now offered €28million plus €2million in add-ons (£24.2million plus 1.7 in add-ons) for Rios, taking the deal to around £26million.
Roma’s previous offer was a guaranteed €25million (£21.6million) with €5million (£4.3million) in add-ons.
Roma are even preparing for Rios to arrive at their Trigoria training ground for a medical in the coming days, but they are still waiting for Palmeiras to give the green light.
United are allegedly considering a ‘last-minute’ move to beat Roma to Rios, but the midfield appears to have his heart set on a move to the Italian capital.

United’s long-standing interest in Rios
United fans may be familiar with Rios, having been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last year.
The Brazilian media reported that United wanted Rios after his impressive displays for Colombia at Copa America.
United even wanted Rios before signing Ugarte, according to FIFA agent Sabatino Durante, but it was the Uruguayan who arrived.
Rios has continued to shine for Palmeiras and played a key role in the Brazilian side reaching the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.
United’s interest in Rios has not wavered, but it may now take something special to keep him out of Roma’s clutches.
