Manchester United are hoping to offload Jadon Sancho this summer, and may have finally found some progress on that front.

Manchester United are looking to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer, but much depends on offloading players.

Alejandro Garnacho has been told to leave United this summer, while the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony can also go.

We have seen interest emerge in all of those players over the summer, but a deal has never truly seemed close.

United are struggling to sign Bryan Mbeumo and would love to sell these unwanted forwards in order to help fund incomings for Ruben Amorim.

Juventus make progress over Jadon Sancho

Sancho has not received a fresh opportunity under Amorim and is still available for transfer even after Erik ten Hag’s exit.

Chelsea have sent Sancho back to United after a mixed loan spell, paying £5million in the process.

United are now left with Sancho, but a move to Italy could now be on the cards for the former Borussia Dortmund wide man.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus are ‘closing in’ on signing Sancho.

It’s stated that Juve have held positive talks with both Sancho’s representatives and United on Wednesday, and are pushing to finalise his arrival.

Juve winger Nicolas Gonzalez is wanted by Inter and Atletico Madrid, with a sale of the Argentinian potentially paving the way for Sancho’s arrival.

It’s unclear whether this would be a loan or permanent move, but United will be desperate to offload Sancho one way or another.

Sancho proposed for Inter move

Di Marzio also claimed on Wednesday that Sancho had been ‘proposed’ for a move to Inter.

It’s unclear whether that offer came from United or Sancho’s representatives, but Inter appear to be keen on a winger.

The aforementioned Gonzalez is one target, while Inter are also looking at Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.

New Inter boss Christian Chivu has been toying with a 3-4-2-1 system this summer, as he looks to build on Simone Inzaghi’s work.

A new wide man could bring a different dimension to the Inter attack, and Sancho could be one option for the Italian giants.

Juve are closing in, though, with Sancho potentially in line to play against Inter in Serie A this season.
