Manchester United have only a few hours to find Jadon Sancho a move.

After a busy summer for Manchester United, so much has come down to deadline day, with Jadon Sancho’s future still left undecided.

Both Juventus and Chelsea have been viable options for the 24-year-old over the past few days, but now Juventus’ interest in Sancho has come to a halt.

This leaves Chelsea as the front runners, and now Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the possible move.

Jadon Sancho nearing Chelsea switch

Sancho has been the hottest topic around United on deadline day, with his exit expected to occur with his spot in United’s team not guaranteed.

Erik ten Hag does not seem convinced about Sancho and has left him out of both his Premier League squads so far.

Fabrizio Romano has now tweeted to report that Sancho has given Chelsea a ‘total green light’ over the move as he is keen on joining Chelsea this summer.

Talks are ongoing between United and Chelsea with both parties hoping to find an agreement before the close of the transfer window at 11 pm on Friday.

Romano added that Juventus’ talks remain on stand-by, although all signs now point toward Sancho joining the Blues.

Manchester United should ask for Carney Chukwuemeka

With both permanent and loan deals on the table, along with swap deals also being discussed, it is unclear the kind of move Sancho will secure.

But if it is permanent, United will likely be taking a player in exchange, and in that event, Carney Chukwuemeka is the name Ineos should be asking for.

Chukwuemeka is another player surplus to requirements at Chelsea, but he is so talented and given his age, he fits the profile United should be looking to bring in to strengthen the midfield.

If it happens to be Raheem Sterling that arrives, we have warmed to that idea as well, given he is a huge upgrade on Sancho.
