Exciting Manchester United talent praised by Jonny Evans could now follow in Amad's footsteps before January deadline

Manchester United may well face a busy final few days of the January transfer window as Ruben Amorim looks to wheel and deal.

The January transfer window slams shut on Monday night and Manchester United are trying to get some key business done.

Ayden Heaven is set to join United from Arsenal with the teenage defender already being eyed for a first-team role.

United are also close to signing Patrick Dorgu having achieved a breakthrough in talks with Lecce.

Those two players are talents for the future but United will look to get them up to speed quickly under Ruben Amorim.

United also need to let players go and whilst Antony’s move to Real Betis has been confirmed, others may go.

Dan Gore could leave Manchester United on loan

Much of the focus is on Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho whilst Casemiro could be available on loan.

United have sent Ethan Wheatley to Walsall and more young players could head out on loan before the window slams shut.

Manchester World now report that United may also look to loan out Harry Amass and Dan Gore.

It’s suggested that Gore is receiving interest not only from EFL clubs, but also teams in Scotland.

Gore joined Port Vale on loan for the second half of last season but the last year has been an injury-hit one for the midfielder.

Now 20, Gore is back and captaining United’s Under-21’s but may need another loan move at this stage in his development.

Gore has been praised by Jonny Evans for his character and mentality in first-team training but he needs games at a senior level now.

A move to Scotland would see Gore take a leaf out of Amad’s book in terms of his development.

Amad joined Rangers on loan from United back in 2022 but his time at Ibrox was a little mixed.

Despite scoring against Ross County in his first game for Rangers, he couldn’t nail down a consistent starting role.

Rangers went to the Europa League final but Amad was an unused substitute in their eventual defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Amad bounced back from that disappointing spell to shine at Sunderland and then become a star at Old Trafford.

The uncompromising nature of Scottish football may well be a great test for Gore and that may yet be his destination rather than another EFL move.
