I would argue that Chelsea supporters are in the same boat now and are probably in disbelief that the Blues could move him on for a £42.5m to £43m fee this summer.
Garnacho had his moments of brilliance at Old Trafford — there is no denying that — especially after his outrageous bicycle kick against Everton back in 2023.
However, the show-stealing moments from the Chelsea winger are not enough to overlook the lack of consistency that he brings to the table for his team.

Garnacho’s struggles during the 2025-26 campaign had only amplified to the point that United fans are incredibly sentimental towards their players at Old Trafford.
Just when rival fans would question Garnacho’s ‘true’ abilities, Red Devils supporters came instantly to the Argentina winger’s defence time after time.
Sometimes the protection of Garnacho was warranted, but the Chelsea player was not Cristiano Ronaldo — nor will he ever be at this rate either.
