Manchester United decided to release Anthony Martial over the summer and the forward now seems to finally be on the verge of finding a new club.
Changes had to come at Manchester United after a disappointing eighth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
Erik ten Hag held onto his job but United rang the changes in the transfer market.
United snapped up five first-team signings over the summer as Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Manuel Ugarte all arrived.
Players also had to depart the club with Scott McTominay’s move to Napoli possibly the most difficult to stomach.
Out of contract players were let go with Raphael Varane leading the way, joining Como after a disappointing three-year stint at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial set to find a new club
As one former France international found the next step in his career after leaving United, another has struggled.
Forward Antony Martial was let go at the end of his deal but remains without a club midway through September.
Martial has attracted interest but no deal has materialised for him so far.
Atalanta were keen in August whilst talks were held over a stunning move Brazilian side Flamengo earlier in September.
Reports then added that AEK Athens were offering Martial a club-record deal to make the move to Greece.
Sport24 in Greece now claim that Martial is on the verge of signing for AEK in a ‘major bombshell’ transfer.
It’s stated that AEK are in the ‘final stretch’ in terms of signing Martial to the biggest contract they have ever offered.
Martial is expected to sign a three-year deal worth over €3million-a-year – around £50,000-a-week including bonuses.
Documents are allegedly being exchanged with Sport24 hyping up the transfer by stating that ‘AEK are close to detonating the biggest bomb of the summer transfer window’.
Martial misses out on stadium presentation
The report adds that AEK actually wanted to present Martial in front of their fans at Monday’s home game against Volos.
AEK won 2-0 but the deal with Martial wasn’t completed in time for a presentation on Monday night.
AEK seemingly believe that the deal is close though with Martial set to play under former Argentina star Matias Almeyda.
Former Tottenham Hotspur ace Erik Lamela joined AEK over the summer whilst Sofyan Amrabat’s brother Nordin is also at the club.
AEK sit top of the league with three wins from four games and will now hope that Martial can help them win another league title this season.
