Manchester United are playing a waiting game in the January transfer window due to their precarious financial situation but the summer window should be different.
Ruben Amorim will have had almost a full season to gauge the qualities of the Man Utd squad and realise what holes need filling on priority.
Even if United sign Patrick Dorgu this January, it can be argued that, with the departure of Antony and Tyrell Malacia being free to leave, more is needed at wing-back.
A 14-second clip has emerged of a player that should end all debate as to who the top target for United should be at wing-back.

Milos Kerkez’s remarkable 14-second clip
United’s links to Milos Kerkez are not new, with the Hungarian fullback emerging as one of Premier League’s top young talents this season.
He has unlocked a new level to his game under Andoni Iraola and had a great audition for a future United role in the Cherries’ victory at Old Trafford.
The only question mark over his was his potential suitability for a wing-back role and his attacking instincts, one that was answered loudly recently.
A clip emerged of Kerkez against Newcastle in their 4-1 victory at the Toons’ home, where Kerkez seemed to beat fatigue to score a late goal when his body wasn’t allowing him to.
Premier League’s official account posted the clip of his late goal with the caption: “Milos Kerkez’s tank was empty, and then he did this…”.
Kerkez personified Ruben Amorim’s demand
“Intensity” and “suffering” have been the two buzzwords of Ruben Amorim’s tenure so far, with the Man Utd manager repeatedly stressing that he wants his player to collapse on the ground at full-time after every game.
That is the level of effort and application he wants to see from his team, and what his team has only delivered in marquee games so far, to much of Amorim’s frustration.
Kerkez personifies those two qualities in the clip above, running on empty to make a difference when he could have easily stayed back since his team was already in the lead.
That ability to extract an extra 5% from the body that even you didn’t know you had is what separates good players from the great ones when everyone around them is collapsing.
If there was any doubt over who United should go all guns blazing for in the summer, Milos Kerkez just answered it loudly.
