Man Utd loan ratings for first half of 2025/26, Vitek and Amass shine but another 8/10 is a huge surprise

Add as preferred source on Google

Here’s a comprehensive rating of Manchester United loanees for the first half 2025/26 season, excluding players like Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana, etc who have no future at the club.

Man Utd sanctioned 18 loans in the summer, and the man who sanctioned them has already left the club.

Jonny Evans became the club’s loan manager in the summer and left recently, which means United will have to reassess the moves in January.

Some, like Radek Vitek and Harry Amass, have shone on loan, but an 8/10 youngster has been the biggest surprise package.

Man Utd loan watch ratings

Enzo Kana-Biyik – 5

Enzo Kana-Biyik took time to get going at Lausanne, getting injured to prolong his wait for a debut, but has shown glimpses of potential since then.

A recent game against Fiorentina in Europe was notable, as he also scored his first goal for the club this season.

WHICH Manchester United loanee have you been most impressed by this season and why?🔥⚽️

Dan Gore – 7

Dan Gore’s Rotherham loan would have been a success solely based on the games he’s playing, as he has shaken off injury worries.

He’s also doing well in those games, and could be someone who Ruben Amorim looks at next pre-season.

Radek Vitek – 8

Radek Vitek’s Bristol City loan has been a huge success story as the goalkeeper has become a fan-favourite since a fine debut.

Personal awards and recognition from fans will have the club excited about his potential, but a recent injury setback will see him be unavailable until February.

Jack Moorhouse – 6

Jack Moorhouse went on the first loan of his career with Leyton Orient in League One, and relative to expectations from him, he has been a slightly underwhelming performer.

Does Ruben Amorim need to improve his use of the academy?⭐️

His ball-carrying ability has been stifled to an extent due to the physicality of league football, but it will help him grow in the long-term.

For now, another loan, hopefully in the Championship, will do him good next season.

Ethan Wheatley – 6.5

Ethan Wheatley needed a comeback loan after his struggles at Walsall this season, and he has started to do exactly that at Northampton Town this season.

Wheatley has added goals and assists to his game and garnered rave reviews for his all-round performance.

Like Moorhouse, he will want to get a Championship loan next season.

Toby Collyer – 4

Toby Collyer recently got unexpectedly caught up in the eye of the storm as Amorim used his struggles to explain his Kobbie Mainoo stance.

Collyer’s West Brom loan hasn’t gone according to plan, as he struggled to make an impact before getting injured, which forced him back to Carrington to recuperate.

He will hope for a better second half of the season.

Ethan Williams – 8

Ethan Williams is the surprise package of this year’s loan crop as he has used the pre-season momentum of scoring for United to impress everyone at Falkirk.

Williams has become the creative hub of a Falkirk side that doesn’t score much, so he’s in the middle of action whenever it happens.

He is a sneaky first-team contender for Utd next season if he keeps this form up.

Ethan Ennis – 7

Ethan Ennis started his Fleetwood Town loan with a bang, scoring on his debut, and has continued to contribute positively since.

Ennis has proven himself to be above League Two level, and proper domination should see him jump divisions next season.

Harry Amass – 8

Harry Amass has become Sheffield Wednesday’s leading light this season despite the club’s struggles, winning their recent Player of the Month award in a landslide vote.

Amass has been ever-present and regularly been one of the best players on the pitch for the club.

Besides these players, others like Joe Hugill, Habeeb Ogunneye, and Sonny Aljofree are also plugging away in league football, but their chances of breaking out at Old Trafford look remote.

Then there’s the list of senior players like Marcus Rashford, Andre Onana, Jadon Sancho, and more, who will never play for the club again.
