Crysencio Summerville has become a real left-wing option for Manchester United this summer, with his release clause showing excellent value for money.
When a player as talented as Crysencio Summerville is relegated, it is only a matter of time until he is snapped up elsewhere, and Manchester United are the club appearing best placed to sign him.
Summerville put himself in the shop window for the Netherlands during their World Cup campaign, showing what he is capable of in a better team.
United have already approached West Ham, according to reports, with Summerville seen as a player who could explode when playing in a more attack-minded, dominant team.
Now, news of his release clause makes the deal feel like even more of a possible steal.

Manchester United learn of Crysencio Summerville release clause
When Summerville was linked to United, the reaction was actually mixed from within the fanbase, with some pointing towards his relegation as a reason to avoid.
But Summerville’s performances at West Ham had excellent underlying numbers, which suggest he would thrive with a big move, and he will get that move considering how reasonable his fee is.
According to TEAMtalk, Summerville actually has a £40m release clause this summer after the Hammers’ relegation.
This would put Summerville £10m cheaper than originally thought, and is a fee which will look cheap in 12 months.
In a market that has gone mad, Summerville for £40m is an example of finding true value within the transfer window, the kind of deal Ineos will love and one which proves they are correct not to be ripped off.
Rumours also suggest Summerville has picked United as his ideal move, with his ambition to compete for trophies and in the Champions League driving this.

Summerville is a smart signing Manchester United need to do more
Signing Summerville as a project winger, who is Premier League proven, cheap, and has sky-high potential, is exactly the kind of move United fans have been wanting United to make.
It is a deal that will please fans and also the board. Summerville shows that United may have found a method to beat the inflated market by looking for players with release clauses.
Liverpool did this with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, and it is something United should do for Summerville and also do more of going forward.
It is a data-driven signing, and one that United’s recruitment team can be happy with in all aspects.
The midfield is the priority, but United should get this done.
