Manchester United have already made a transfer approach to sign Crysencio Summerville
This week has seen United linked with Crysencio Summerville of West Ham, with the winger valued at £50m right now following their relegation.
Summerville is working with Ruud van Nistelrooy right now in the Dutch national team, where he scored in their World Cup opener against Japan.
Now, adding to the links, an Italian reporter from Fabrizio Romano’s office, Matteo Moretto, has provided an update on the Romano in Italiano YouTube channel.
“Regarding Crysencio Summerville, AS Roma had asked for information in the past, but given the type of deal, especially the amount involved, it’s a complicated operation for them.
“I’d almost rule it out, because currently there are clubs like Manchester United that are making more concrete moves, so for now, Summerville and Italy are two words I wouldn’t put together.”
Meanwhile, Ben Jacobs added to this, reaffirming that Summerville has absolutely been added to United’s list of options. He adds that an enquiry has already been made to West Ham after Summerville scored highly in the club’s data analysis.
Spurs are mentioned as a rival, but if United want Summerville, then they should get him.

In the situation of Summerville, that would be a yes.
Young, Premier League proven, and while not consistent right now, has all the tools to become one of the league’s best.
Summerville has also scored at Anfield, which Ferguson used to gauge whether players were good or not and therefore he would surely be in favour of this.
He would arrive as a squad player initially, but he has all the potential to kick on after joining in a better environment to succeed than he had at West Ham.
