Manchester United are moving quickly ahead of the summer transfer window, with potentially two signings already in the bag and a third identified.
The two are Matheus Cunha’s transfer, which looks a matter of when and not if, while Fabrizio Romano has also given his “Here We Go” to Enzo Kana-Biyik to Man Utd.
The third on the list is a striker, where it looks like a fight between multiple targets, as Liam Delap rivals the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Jonathan Burkardt, and more.
Only one target, however, can claim to be having a “season to remember for life”. Ineos exception for him should be a no-brainer.

It’s impossible to look at Man Utd’s recent games and not think that a clinical striker would have made a world of difference to their league position.
The issue has become so chronic that even opposition managers are agreeing with Ruben Amorim, with Thomas Frank the latest to give him his flowers.
United have created an xG of 7.29 to score one goal in their last five fixtures, excluding the Newcastle game, a dire situation to be in.
How about signing a player who has scored 13 goals in his last ten games, and has 42 goal involvements in 37 appearances across all competitions?
Victor Osimhen has become an icon in Turkey with just one season at Galatasaray and reminded the footballing world of his qualities after a whimper of an exit from Napoli.
He recently, via Turkish outlet Haberturk that he’s having the season to remember for life, and the numbers back that claim up.
Napoli are open to selling, Osimhen is set to leave, Man Utd need an experienced hitman so what’s the problem? Well, Ineos need to make an exception.
Osimhen ideal for Ineos exception
Ineos have already made an exception to their transfer policy this season with the potential signing of Matheus Cunha.
Cunha is by no means “old” but he’s already at the peak of his powers and if he sees out his five-year contract at Old Trafford, will have no resale value.
That goes against Ineos’ philosophy of signing upcoming players who grow together and develop into a great team.
If Cunha was one, then there isn’t a better player to make an exception for again than Osimhen because striker is not a position United can afford to gamble with again.
Delap has vast potential and impressed in a lesser team but they’ve already seen with Hojlund what the pressure of playing at Man Utd as a developing striker can do for the team.
Osimhen carries himself like a star, has seen everything in football, and is in the form of his life. This is the kind of signing that takes a team from one level and almost single-handedly raises it.
