It could get frosty between Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford and Barcelona’s Anthony Gordon in the England camp.
Marcus Rashford made it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona next season after enjoying a loan spell with the Spanish giants in 2025/26.
However, Barcelona do not want to pay Rashford’s £26m buy clause despite him racking up 28 goal contributions. The Catalan club did, however, fork out £70m to buy Anthony Gordon.
Barcelona signing Gordon has cast doubt on whether Rashford will return to Camp Nou. It is an awkward situation, and to make matters more interesting, they are sharing the summer together in the England squad.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Gordon in England training
According to reports, Rashford is still hopeful about joining Barcelona, but he has received no communication from the Spanish club about their move for Gordon.
Now, the 28-year-old is training alongside the player who has just taken his spot at Camp Nou.
According to The Telegraph, Gordon’s Barcelona move was a hot topic in England training, with former Newcastle teammate Dan Burn making a reference to it during a drill.
However, the report notes that there was “less interaction” between Rashford and Gordon in Florida.
It is too dramatic to suggest there is now a frosty relationship between the two wingers, but it must be an elephant in the dressing room.
