A Manchester United insider has revealed the eye-opening perception of Senne Lammens at Old Trafford after the summer signing’s arrival at the Red Devils.
Senne Lammens made his Manchester United debut on Saturday afternoon and the 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper secured a clean sheet in his first appearance.
Ruben Amorim dropped Altay Bayindir from the starting XI and Lammens took his place between the sticks for United’s 2-0 Premier League win over Sunderland.
Lammens impressed United fans with a steady overall performance, including showing his commanding presence in the Red Devils area at the weekend.
Ruben Amorim’s summer signing was only tested a few times against the Black Cats, but Lammens was confident on his debut and impressed with his performance.

A Man Utd insider explains what Senne Lammens is really like behind the scenes at Old Trafford
Senne Lammens earned high praise from pundits for his Manchester United display against Sunderland at Old Trafford ahead of the October international break.
The Red Devils made a move for the former Royal Antwerp star on deadline day in September, with Lammens being United’s fifth and final summer signing in 2025.
United agreed an initial transfer fee of £18.1m plus add-ons to land the Belgium Under-21s international from Belgian Pro League outfit Royal Antwerp.
Lammens became a top target for United before the summer window closed and became the Red Devils’ preferred pick ahead of Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez.
The Manchester Evening News spoke with an unnamed United source who has seen Lammens ‘every day’ at the Carrington training complex since his summer move.
According to the United insider, Lammens has already shown his true demeanour at Old Trafford and the Red Devils player is settling in well at the Premier League club.
“He’s got a very calm personality and seems to be taking everything in his stride so far,” the source told the newspaper.

Lammens’ arrival at Old Trafford in the summer paved the way for the exit of Andre Onana, who left United on loan to Super Lig side Trabzonspor in September.
Andre Onana lost his place as Red Devils No 1 under United manager Ruben Amorim and fell down the pecking order behind Altay Bayindir at the Premier League club.
Amorim stuck with Bayindir as his first choice between the sticks in the opening weeks of the Premier League season, despite the United star’s error-prone ways.
The same United source who spoke to the MEN has revealed that “everyone” at the Premier League club shares the same feelings on summer signing Lammens.
“He’s impressed a lot in training and everyone only has positive things to say about him,” the insider told the publication.
Lammens could make his second consecutive start for United after the October international break when the Red Devils travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
