Manchester United chiefs held a meeting with Andre Onana’s representatives last week about his future at Old Trafford.
The 2024/25 campaign was disappointing for almost everyone associated with Manchester United and for Andre Onana it has posed plenty of questions about his future.
Onana was dropped by Ruben Amorim after his mistakes in the Europa League, and now the Red Devils are being linked with several goalkeeping options this summer.
When asked about his future, Onana refused to rule out leaving United this summer with rumours that the £47m signing could be involved in a major squad overhaul.
A meeting took place last week, and it seems United have come to a decision.

Man United decide Andre Onana’s future after meeting
According to The Athletic, Onana is now expected to stay at Old Trafford following the latest transfer meeting with his representatives.
While a new first-choice goalkeeper will not be signed this summer, Ineos could still sign a new goalkeeper to play second fiddle to Onana.
Back in March, Onana was not concerned about being replaced and it seems he was right to believe he would be staying at United heading into the 2025/26 campaign.
Onana has a strong relationship with Ruben Amorim, and despite reports that the United head coach wants new goalkeepers in his squad, it seems he has full faith in the Cameroon international.
Not only is he set to stay, but Onana is helping United recruit Bryan Mbeumo this summer, with the Brentford winger set to be his teammate at club level and internationally if Ineos can agree a fee with Brentford.
Andre Onana decision rules out two mega Man United deals
With Onana set to stay at Old Trafford next season, it seems fans can give up hope of a new No.1 arriving this summer.
United have been linked with Emiliano Martinez as a new goalkeeping option, but it seems extremely unlikely that any deal will now take place.
The same can be said for United target Gianluigi Donnarumma – the Red Devils are already short of cash and a new first-choice goalkeeper is no longer necessary.

However, with Altay Bayindir linked with an exit, United are still expected to bring in a new No.2 so not every transfer rumour can be discounted.
United have been tipped to sign James Trafford, while Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has also been heavily linked with a move.
