Manchester United have plenty of transfer targets on their radar and it seems Ineos are lining up an ambitious move.
On the very first day of the summer window, Manchester United confirmed the arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5m deal.
Since then, Ineos have bid for Bryan Mbeumo with the Brentford star expected to join once a final fee has been reached between both clubs. Overhauling Ruben Amorim’s attack has been a priority, but attention could soon turn to the goalkeeping department.
Altay Bayindir is expected to leave after an underwhelming season as United’s second choice. As for first-choice Andre Onana, his future is also up in the air.

Man United interested in Gianluigi Donnarumma deal
If Onana does leave United and Amorim needs a new No.1, Ineos have Gianluigi Donnarumma in mind.
United have shown interest in Emiliano Martinez, but an opportunity could arise for United to make a bargain swoop for the Italian.
As per French outlet L’Equipe, Donnarumma’s contract at PSG is valid until 2026 and the 26-year-old is still yet to agree an extension with the Parisian side.
They claim both Manchester United and Manchester City have shown interest in a deal if the shot-stopper does leave.
Donnarumma recently starred in PSG’s Champions League win as they hammered Inter Milan 5-0 in the final. But it seems he could soon be headed for the exit if a new contract is not agreed.
As reported by FootMercato, PSG have set an asking price of £34m (40m Euros) for Donnarumma if he does leave this summer.
Man United wanted to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma in 2017
United’s interest in Donnarumma is certainly not new, in fact the Red Devils wanted to sign Donnarumma when he was a teenage sensation.
Donnarumma made his breakthrough at AC Milan, before he completed a move to PSG in 2021.
As per the Manchester Evening News, former United manager Jose Mourinho had earmarked Donnarumma as a potential replacement for David de Gea at Old Trafford.

Donnarumma was just 18 years old at the time but was already becoming a key player in Milan. De Gea ended up spending another six years in Manchester before leaving the club in 2023.
Now that Donnarumma has established himself as a Champions League winner and one of the best goalkeepers on the globe, United could return with an offer.
